Spending the Weekend in Style with Nemacolin Woodland Resorts

I had the honor of spending my last weekend at one of my favorite places in the area: Nemacolin Woodland Resorts.  Nemacolin is a place that appeals to people of all ages and truly brings out the beautiful scenery in our area.

During my time at this wonderful resort, I stayed in one of the new condos in the Links.  It provided many of the commodities that you would expect from a condo including a high-definition television, free wifi, and an enjoyable environment.  The architecture of the condos fit in nicely with the scenery with their traditional tudor style.

Nemacolin has many attractions that allow people of any age to have an enjoyable time.  They are best know for their pro-level golf courses: the Mystic Rock and the Links.  Recently, they have lowered their prices and one can golf 18 holes with cart on the Links for an extremely reasonable $40.  Nemacolin is also known for its highly-rated spas.  In addition to these attractions, guests can order a drink poolside, play a game of tennis or croquet, and visit their new zoo, full of lions, bears, the famous white buffalo, and more.  Nemacolin also provides many seasonal activities including paintball and skiing.

Nemacolin provides many child-targetted attractions where parents can take their kids while they relax.  These include a children’s pool, game room, and the Wildside.  If you are a child or teenager, the Wildside is the place to be.  It includes a full bowling alley, rock wall, pool tables, air hockey tables, and a game room.  While parents allow their children to carouse the area, they can enjoy a drink at the area’s bar.  After visiting the Wildside, children can enjoy the 18 hole mini golf course, complete with a waterfall, pond, and attractive Western PA scenery.  The new Hardy Girl’s Gym is also a great destination for children.  It includes many pieces of gymnastic equipment that are used personally by Mr. Hardy’s daughters.

In addition to all of the attractions that Nemacolin provides, guests can enjoy the many artifacts and rare items there.  While driving through the resort, guests can glance at a part of the Berlin wall, a Buddhist statue, and other interesting artifacts.  Scattered throughout the resort are also museums, housing cars, airplanes, and guns.
