Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Revealed

For the last few weeks, rumors have been circulating that Activision will release the title and release date of the newest extension to the Call of Duty series during the NBA Playoffs on May 1.  Because of Call of Duty’s two year refresh cycle that rotates between Treyarch and Infinity Ward, it was predicted that the next title to the series would be the next version of Black Ops.  That has now been confirmed by an image sent to IGN by Richard.

This image was taken in Target store.  As one can see on the picture above, the name of the new title will be Call of Duty: Black Ops II (no surprise there).  Through this photo, the release date of November 13, 2012 has also been revealed.

The next Call of Duty title was not supposed to be revealed until May 1, but it looks like someone accidentally placed these on the shelves of a Target store!  As always, the new installment of Call of Duty will likely be one of the largest releases of the year.
